Chasing restless storms

Brewing in secret corners

With the changing winds

Hope comes in waves

Through sullen squalls

Riding powerless oceans

Upon rarest of sunbeams

Hope comes in waves

Guarding battered ships

'Neath faceless skies

As deepest of dreams

Hope comes in waves

Summoned from Within

Rising on laboured breaths

Born of meager victories

Hope comes in waves

In silent dreams

Through summer days

Crawling through the moments

Hope comes in waves

Sating ravenous storms

Lighting darkest of corners

Mending broken beings

Hope comes, Hope saves!
