It's the color of berries that are round and dark

Of pants that are lined and gradient

Of the sky when the clouds clear

Of her eyes, or the fish in the sea

Of the ocean, the reflection of the light

Of the circular candy on a stick

Of the fluffy clouds on a stick

Of the birds in the yard,

Of the moaning whale

Of her dyed hair, or planet Uranus

Of the beautiful butterfly,

Of the sign of the handicap

Of the gender reveal party that says 'it's a boy'

Of the tears in her eyes when she cries

Of the ribbon on his chest when he won

Of the skin in the movie 'Avatar'

It's the color that can be just as bright

Or just as sad

Blue
