Hot sun shining bright

The day brilliantly yellow

Hurts the naked eye

Need shade, just a little shade

Even a flimsy palm tree

No, it's not a palm

It looks like spun gold on trees

Is that possible

Oh! it is the beautiful

Blooming golden shower tree

Small yellow petals

Like an upside down party hat

Sparkly chandelier

Hundreds hanging from a branch

Thousands bopping on a tree

It attracts many

Buzz, buzzing striped bumblebees

Delicately winged

Orange, yellow butterflies

And wandering human eyes
