I smiled when I realized your growth inside me

I walked in pride carrying you within me

I started feeling weak and tired

I threw up what I consumed still I managed to eat hoping to fill your little tummy

I gained weight but my skin was glowing with the happiness of you inside me

I was kicked but an hour or two without those kicks would scare the hell out of me
