Gazing at the cell phone
Awaiting for the buzz of ringtone
When insecure feelings
Triggered me to end the innings.
This relation which I seemed fond
Of few days back, was now absconded.
Absconded was My Belief of
Being a part Of some random person,
Could it really be the truth
At the stake of my self-respect!
Bewildered by the mist,
commotion turned into sleepless nights.
Nights which once were
Garnished with savory of peace.
With memories shattered
When I fell on the oasis of grease.
But that was not the end
Because that marked a search to begin.
Begun an engine, where fuel
Was my self-determination,
Meditation was its driver
Faith being my route to follow, with burning
The self-doubt, the ashes reminded
Me of what I was all about.
About a new river emanating
From the hilltops,
Melting the snow of dependence
Making her own path
To reach the oceans, Engraving
the boulders leaving her wrath.
Wrath was never a reason
For the long run, but Are spikes
For elevating the sprinters
Even at the turn. In search of self-love
I also drove those passengers
Who held my head high in every curb.
Curb is just a break to rest
Always mending our souls to the best
Take a deep breath, leave all the rest.
