Monster under my bed saw me cry to bed 

He saw me fight battles in my head 

He tried to crawl up and comfort me but my thoughts didn't let him reach

My mistakes are still trying to teach something I'm finding hard to preach 

The monster under my bed is less scarier than the one in my head 

People with real intentions are really rare but still dangerous
