Once Upon A Tiger

This is a deep, reality-based nature/wildlife conservation awareness poem that ends on a self-evaluative note. It seeks to open the eyes and hearts of the reader to the ground realities constituting the misconceptions and wrong perceptions that drive illicit wildlife trade. We need to empathize with the pitiable existential conditions that beset our wildlife and play an active role in the conservation of our threatened and endangered wildlife species - especially our keystone and flagship species - the Tiger.
