So many times I saw the light,

shining through eyes that never cried,

And as the soul in me began to crack,

facing my senses,

I asked myself if you will see the differences.

Now that I am blind,

I see myself burning from the inside,

And as the child in me is lost in darkness,

without defense,

I wish I could return to innocence.
