How I long for solitude

 Amidst the milling multitude.

Each one with his attitude 

Scrambling for the greatest altitude.

Whither has gone humanity,

Leaving behind sanity.

Making loud claims of maturity

While all along it’s sheer insanity.

Ah! What bliss to stay apart,

Every moment to be savoured.

Every thought a new start

Solitude is there to be devoured.
