A friend called once and said let us have coffee

Bury our differences with a dose of philosophy

Our opinions can stay divided

But as friends we must stay united.

I said

In caste and religion, you have cast your identity

These two must go, in friendship we can become one entity.

Faith or friendship he could not decide

Our differences we could not set it aside.
