From the dark grey night, appeared a greenish purple silhouette to run chills down Jake's spine.

 “Aaarrgghhh! What? Who?” cried Jake. 

The thing didn’t utter a word. It kept moving ahead towards Jake, step by step, with its arms stretched forward. Jake was dripping sweat and had a trembling mumble.

Jake closed his eyes and waited for his fate to take a call. 

“Ho ho ha ha ha!” the thing laughed. 

Jake felt the voice was a familiar one. He realised it was his sister pranking him again. 

“So, every month is Halloween for you, right?” Jake commented.

“Anyway, Merry Christmas.”
