Hell

What is hell? Is it a place as described in mythological books where peoples are fried in oil ,made to sit on chairs of thrones or so? Or is it situations of crushed hopes, loneliness, and unfulfilled expectations which is more painful imaginary tortures for sins after death or experiencing those pain emotionally before death. It's probably the second one, one experiences hell when the pain could not be expressed by words when hopes are crushed and patience yields pain when one's expectations are killed by ignorance and fear of society, that's when one is dead and experiences hell while still alive.
